I really should be quicker at sharing news on my ‘ News’ page!

In January 2024, I was contacted by Yaumi Publishers in Indonesia. They were interested in translating and publishing The World is Your Masjid into Bahasa, Indonesian. Yaumi have published many English language books from other UK publishers and they have a very good reputation.

The English version of the book had done so well there and I was absolutely thrilled at the prospect of it being much more widely accessible to everyone.

So after lots of discussion and some illustration tweaks (the girls tunic needed to be longer to fit in with the Indonesian culture), the book was published in May 2024 and sold 3,500 copies on preorder. I am genuinely so happy and grateful that they reached out to me. It’s always a little nerve wracking when you work with new people but Yaumi Publishers were really professional and the whole process was a lot of fun!
