Conway School, Birmingham
Thursday the 6th of March was World Book Day and I had the pleasure of spending it at Conway School in Sparkhill, Birmingham. I had the privilege of sharing We Are Here in an assembly and then running some thought-provoking interactive workshops with the students. From the moment I stepped into the school, I was met with warmth, curiosity, and an infectious energy that made the entire experience truly special.
The students at Conway School blew me away—not just with their creativity and talent, but with their kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage. They approached the workshops with an open mind and an open heart, making it a joy to explore storytelling, expression, and the power of empathy together.
A huge thank you to the staff and students at Conway School for having me and for making me feel so welcome. Your school is filled with amazing young people who have so much to offer the world. Keep being brilliant, kind, and creative—I can’t wait to see where your talents take you!
